Design Process

To achieve this we follow a 5 stage process:

Design Process

Specify

We work closely with you to determine:

What are your company goals?
Who you are targeting the site at?
What customer requirements are you trying to fulfill?
How will you satisfy them?
Why would they use you over your competitors?

We will work with you to determine:

How do we increase revenue?
How do we reduce expenses?
How do we bring in more customers?
How do we get more business out of each existing customer?
How do we increase shareholder value?

There is a lot of information to gather that will help us to determine how best to construct your site. We will also need to know about the layout and the content that you would like included for each page, colour schemes etc.

At the end of this phase you will receive a proposal document and a quotation for the work.

Create

We create a mock-up site, to give you an idea of the basic layout, colour schemes, and the site navigation, based on our discussions.

Once this site “Template” has been agreed upon, we set to work populating the pages with your information.

The more information you can supply, the better although if you need photographs or artwork done, this can also be quoted for.

When everything is complete, we ask you to scrutinise the website in microscopic detail. Be as critical as possible, as your competitors are only a click away, and if your site has errors or wrong information, they are just as likely to click away from your pages without so much as a second thought.

Deploy

Once you have agreed that the site is ready to deploy, we will upload the site and make it live.

When the site is live, we will do a thorough QA check of every page to make sure everything was uploaded successfully.

Monitor

We don’t believe in just creating a web site for you and then walking away. Search engines prefer sites that have relevant and regularly updated content.

For the first month after the go live date you have free access for technical help, and we will monitor your site on a daily basis to track the number of visitors to the site, to build up a profile of your visitors:

Where they have come from?
How did they find your site?
Where they are located?
What page did they go to first?
Where did they go from there?
Where did they leave your site?
How long did they stay?
And a number of other factors

Enhance

From analysing this information we can see what pages work, and which ones don’t. During the first month after the go-live date, we will make changes to the site free of charge to improve the page layout if required and to help the Search Engines list your site correctly.

After the first month additions, moves and changes can be made on an ad hoc basic for a fee of £30 per update, or alternatively we offer monthly service packages that will allow you to have regular updates at a reduced price.
